Chitty Chitty Bangkok.

We fly to Bangkok, Thailand, in an hour and a half (My facebook status was off by an hour, to all my friends who saw that.)

Anyway, I’m really really excited about Thailand. Specifically the food. And the boat rides. and the food. and the temple. and the food.

And the food.

Speaking of food, we went out to dinner last night (Obviously, we went out. There is no place to cook in our hotel. and last time we tried to cook in a microwave in Japan?….. Let’s just say it’s a good story for another time.)

So we went to an Okonamiyaki place. Our favorite Japanese food. We get there, and we order three Okonamiyaki(s?) (how do you pluralize that?) and My dad and hid buddy got two beers. We’re sitting there, more people come in and sit down. They all order, get their food, and eat. We still have no food. After almost an hour, we ask how much longer and the lady says “10 more minutes.” and we wait. Another half hour later, a guy comes up. We ask him how long, and he takes our order again.

Moral of the story is, if you are waiting over an hour for your food, order again. Language barriers are so fun, right?

That’s our adventure story for Japan.

I’m afraid of what our Thailand story will be. Might br frightening. I’ll put a disclaimer on if it is.

Well, I have photos to upload. I took a series of photos just for a blog post. I’ll try to have that up before I leave. We’ll see.

I hope you enjoyed this double-blog post thing.

Toky-yo-yo

Guess where I am at the exact moment that I’m typing this?!?

Umm……….. Well, since you can’t guess, I’ll tell you. I’m headed to Tokyo (Or, as I am now saying it- Toky-YO!) and then Bangkok the day after we land.

Sadly, this won’t be posted until I find wi-fi on the ground (which is currently 10,963 meters below me)

So! I know I never… uh… well… posted any follow up about the Australia trip. I’ve been avoiding you guys since then, because I never posted anything about the trip. Honestly, I really didn’t have that much to say about it. It was just a bit of a laid back trip, and I only took about 30 pictures. Which I haven’t even gone through. I also had forgotten Shmonkey (Don’t worry- he is in my back pack now.)

Anyway, nothing really exciting to report from here. I got my compy out to do some outlining for SUMMER NANOWRIMO (can you tell I’m excited?), and decided that you all deserve some news from my life.

I will now fill you in on the 3 I have watched since my flight took off.

THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU:

Over all, I was rather impressed with it. I wasn’t expecting it to be very good at all (Though, I was hoping it would be!) It was pretty clean, and had a strong plot to it. I’d watch it again.

BEASTLY:

Ok, Kay the future Author, Don’t kill me. I watched it without you. I’m sorry.

I have mixed feelings about this one. I was really excited about it until I heard Vanessa Hudgens was in it. Then all my dreams were crushed. But, once it was over, I was rather impressed. She can act better then she displays in High School Musical. Of course, Mary Kate Olsen was… well….. Honestly, I think they cast her for the part because she didn’t have to act at all. It was just her natural personality.

Did I say that out loud? Oops.

Anyway, it was a cute, clean movie that kept me entertained. Dear Kay and Little sis fish, I’ll watch it with you when it comes out on dvd.

INCEPTION:

I’ve already seen this one and it’s my favorite movie. If you’re never watched it, you’ve never lived. End of story.

JUSTIN BIEBER: NEVER SAY NEVER:

Oh my goodness, Justin Bieber is so inspirational and amazing! I’m so in love with him that I’m going to marry him. You can now call me J.B. OH MY GOODNESS! WE WILL HAVE THE SAME INITIALS!!

Ok. Now that all my friends have lost complete hope in me, I will say that I didn’t actually watch it. It was an option, and I would have if it weren’t for the fact that I didn’t want the man next to me or the flight attendants to think I actually liked that kid. (Of course, if he reads this over my shoulder, he might think so anyway.)

Now that I’m done with my cheesy movie review section, I really have nothing else to say to my homies back… home…

[That sentence didn’t work right. Lets try again]

I really have nothing else to say to my pals back home.

[Better?]

I better stop with the brackets, so I don’t use them excessively.

[My therapist says it’s bad to use them so much.]

It’s quite fun, actually.

[I don’t really have a therapist.]

Well, as i said, I have the urge to write, so I’m going to start outlining. I’m super excited about August. Summer Nano will be super epic.

I miss my homies/pals/buddies/friends back home. I will try to post the thai food pictures, as promised to a few friends. Ok, I promised one friend. Peanut, I will post them for you.

Oh! PANDA SHOUT OUT TIME!- The man sitting next to me on the plane watched Unstoppable. He said it was really good. (I was trying not to look at his screen the whole time, so I wouldn’t spoil it.)

I’ll try to be more diligent about my blogging-ness. I miss typing to my millions of fans.

I mean, my few pals that read this. Same thing, right?

P.S. Check out Kay the Future Author’s new-ish Tumblr blog thing! (Are they considered Blogs, or is Tumblr it’s own breed?)

Go there. Right now.

Guess where I Am?

[California]

Guess where I’m going?

[Australia]

Finally, after nearly a year of no international travel, I’m heading out of town again.

I’m soooo stoked to go back. Out of every place I’ve been too, it’s my favorite

[Except Home]

But that doesn’t count.

Because home is where the heart is.

[I don't know what that has to do with anything, though.]

As you can see, i’m going a little overboard with the brackets.

[They are SUPER fun]

See? It’s a problem.

But it really is quite fun.

I’m really tired……

[If you can't tell]

I also went to In-n-Out burger today!

[Yum!]

But, I must say, as good as it is, Dick’s Drive-in in Seattle is much much better.

[Can I get an amen?]

Well, I honestly don’t have much more to say. My flight doesn’t leave for several more hours, and I’m quite bored.

But, you should check out this cover that was done by James Durbin on American Idol this week.

[it's amazing]

Even the HTML code is in brackets.

Just wanted to point that out.

[Even though you can't see it]

Ok, I’m going to leave now.

I’ll try to update from Sydney. I’m not sure what the Wi-fi situation is there.

To all my friends, Enjoy the sunshine up there in the PNW.

To anyone not in the PNW, well, you should enjoy the weather where you are, too.

Unless it’s hailing.

That might be a bad idea.

Going, Going!- gone.

…..

I’m extremely sad.

See, yesterday was the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Traveling Teen. And I missed it.

But! I made it a year! Wow, what an accomplishment! The past year, I’ve been challenged to pour out and write what’s been on my heart and mind, even if it is slightly (or a lot more then slightly) embarrassing.

Thank you to all my dear friends who read this. And if there are any random strangers out there who read this, I apologize for all the weird inside jokes and awkward blog topics.

So, moving on.

This past weekend, Me and two of my lovely friends made a completely epic video (I’m too excited about it to be modest. Sorry.)

It was for a contest put on by Liveaction.org, and it’s about Exposing Planned Parenthood and why the government should not give them funding.

You can find it here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDieGR6jZh8

In just a few short days, we’ve received almost 1,000 views, and it’s spreading across all our friend’s facebook’s like wildfire. We’re very excited about it. Even if we don’t win the contest, it’s still a message that needs to get out there.

I would appreciate it if you took the time to go watch it.

It seems like I’ve had things i’ve wanted to blog about all week, but now that I’m here, I can’t think of them. So here are some random facts.

  • My radioactive spider abilities have not shown up yet. Does anyone have Peter Parker’s number? I’d like to call him and ask him how long it took for his powers to show up.
  • Do not confuse Peter Parker with Peter Pan. That would be an awkward conversation.
  • “Hi Peter, So, uh, How long did it take you to get your spidey powers? Oh, I have the wrong number? Ya know, I thought this area code was a little weird. What?! Captain Hook is raiding your tree fort and you have to go? Ok, I’ll let you go rescue Wendy. You have a good day. Bye now.”
  • I want an iPad 2, but I refuse to buy one until the iPad 4.
  • I would happily accept any gifts that my readers would like to send me, like an iPad 2.
  • People technically give gifts on anniversaries, you know.
  • I’ve started yet another novel this week. This one doesn’t have a story line. It’s very confusing to write.
  • I need to edit my two other novels. But every time I try, a new project shows up.
  • I have an addiction to starting novels. And a fear of finishing them
  • I’ve recently remembered that I really like Pandora Radio (pandora.com) and have since been listening to it non-stop. Making a radio with “One Republic” and “Neon Trees” has turned out to be completely awesome.
  • My dance teacher has decided that i’m really flexible and has decided to put cheerleader moves into me and my friend’s solo.
  • I am not flexible.
  • I am not a cheerleader.
  • This list is too long.

Bored yet?

Yeah, I thought so.

Hey! Excitement! I might be doing a thing called Script Frenzy. It’s like NaNoWriMo, except with a script. (duh?). It’s actually put on by the same company.

I’m on the fence about whether or not I should participate. It means I’d start another project.

Which, actually, sounds fun.

Hello, My name is J.P, and I’m addicted to starting novels. I tend to start one a month. But I didn’t start one in January or February, which is progress.

I feel the need to go write more, now that I’ve said that.

And No, you’re not going to be allowed to read this novel, either. Sorry. I don’t share. Maybe someday.

Probably not someday, either.

-J.P.

P.S- I just realized I did start one in January. It’s a whole page long. Yahoo….

Everyone needs an animal skin rug.

I was at the Gun show yesterday With my best friend, Moose, and we walked past a father and his son.

“Son, I think you need an animal skin rug.”

Quote of the Day.

So, to all my friends- I think YOU need an animal skin rug. It’s a necessity of life.

Honestly, I have no reason for telling you this. No great story behind it. No soggy-life metaphors.

Just a quote of the day.

By the way, my little farm town is still white with snow.

And Ice.

And I STILL haven’t gone sledding.

This is a problem that needs to change.

So, today, I WILL go sledding.

And maybe I’ll build a snowman.

And Maybe I’ll come up with better things to blog about.

(Probably not)
